I forgot to mention that the (T:) mapped network drive has modify permissions for everyone. Security properties for local downloads folders are ‘Full control’ for: System, user1, and Administrators. I also tried creating the same folder in the local folder(C:\Users\user1\Downloads) with same name and it still failed. I also tried re-creating the folder at the remote downloaded location(T:) and moving the file into the folder with same downloaded name structure but it still failed with same error message.
#Sonarr import failed download
The reason I mention this is because the error messages mentions the local path and the name of the download as it was grabbed/downloaded in the client was a folder, So basically it seems that sonarr is looking for a downloaded folder at the downloaded location that does not exist, at least that is what it appears to be doing. I have checked that current logon and sonarr has all proper permissions, however, I have my client set to not ‘create subfolder for torrents with multiple files’ so only the actual loose individual file are downloaded/saved to mapped network drive (T:). I’m running from the startup folder and not service. Ensure the path exists and the user running Sonarr has the correct permissions to access this file/folder. Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: C:\Users\user1\Downloads\.x264-aAF. However, it failed at importing anything due to the error: Seems like that's what was recommended back then for whatever reason.Ok so I enabled the ‘Automatically import completed downloads from download client’ to see how that feature works, I made that UID so long ago now, I don't recall why. This command should be issued from a SSH terminal inside the sonarr jail.įollow this exact same procedure with every jail you ever create and you will be rid of this forever. In any case once you have two media users (one jail, one host) with matching uid/gid's a simple chown media:media /tv & chown media:media /downloads will likely fix this issue. And before doing anything id do a recursive snapshot of every pool. Its important if using the GUI to not own anything but your media to the media user of course. Then of course the user media should own the actual MEDIA datasets in question on the host. The key is making the two media users uid and gid match each other (8675309 by default), the media user in the jail and the media user on the host. I cant confirm if this has changed, mine has been set for so long. Also im pretty sure the media user UID by default on freenas and in all jails should be/is/was uid=8675309 unless you need 816 for a reason. Is it media:media? The owner will likely be root if you didnt create them as media.
#Sonarr import failed tv
SSH to the sonarr jail or the freenas host and enter sonarr jail iocage console SONARRJAIL and doĪnd see what user owns the folders tv and downloads. I am convinced it is of course a permission issue, but just not sure what else to do here. Pw useradd -n media -u 816 -d /nonexistent -s /usr/sbin/nologinĬhown -R media:media /usr/local/share/sonarr

Here is are the permissions I've applied: I have reviewed several guides on the subject, here are my jail mounts and the permissions I've applied:ĭestination: /mnt/iocage/jails/sonarr/root/downloadsĭestination: /mnt/iocage/jails/sonarr/root/tv

Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: /media/downloads/tv/ However, I am still having issues with both Sonarr and Radarr throwing error when trying to move the download as noted below. I have recreated the jails in iocage and have tried very hard to get all settings identical between the warden and iocage jails, along with all settings. I have been using Sonarr & Sabnzbd for years on warden jails, no issues. I am moving over to iocage from warden jails and have done a lot of research prior to posting this, reviewing threads on here and elsewhere to no real conclusion.
